Admissions Procedures

The following information pertains only to the Enrollment Procedures for PEACE Program applicants. Applicants who have been accepted to an undergraduate program within the PEACE Program will receive an Enrollment Procedure Guidelines1 and should read that material closely before proceeding.

Accepted applicants who wish to matriculate must complete the Enrollment Procedures via the WEB system. Adhere to all deadlines.

Payment of required fees can be made by credit card or remittance from a bank. Go here to read about the required fees and refer to the Key Dates below for the associated deadline.

Enrollment Procedures

The Enrollment Procedures are as follows.

Admission Notification

Results of your application will be accessible by logging into My Page on the WEB system on the respective date listed above for your Application time period. Successful applicants will be able to download the Notice of Acceptance and the Enrollment Procedure Guidelines from the announcement page.

Applicants for the Rikkyo Promising Future Scholarship will be notified at the time of Admission notification about the results of their Rikkyo Promising Future Scholarship applications. Note that only PEACE Program applicants who meet the scholarship conditions will be eligible.

Payment of the Required Fees

Complete the payment of the required fees (Admission fee and the first semester Tuition & Other fees) by the respective deadline listed above for your Application time period. You may pay by credit card on the WEB system or by bank remittance. If, for any reason, you do not complete the payment for the required fees by the deadline, you will not be admitted.

Registering Enrollment Information

Provide the required Admissions and Enrollment information, including but not limited to, pertaining to the applicant (you), a guarantor, your Student Visa acquisition, and the dormitory by the specified date.

Submission of Enrollment Documents

Submit Enrollment documents by the respective deadline listed above for your Application time period. Check the WEB system and the Enrollment Procedure Guidelines for information relating to the contents of the documents and the submission method (e.g., submission via the WEB system or by mail).

Student Visa Application

If you do not have resident status in Japan, you will need to obtain a Student Visa. If you would like Rikkyo University to apply on your behalf to obtain Student residence status, please follow the procedures on the WEB system and the Enrollment Procedure Guidelines. Based on the documents you submit, you will be issued a Certificate of Eligibility (COE), and Rikkyo University will send it to you. We strongly advise you that you accept Rikkyo University’s support in this process. There is no additional fee for this service.

Process After Completing the Admissions Procedures

We will contact you after you have completed the Admissions Procedures regarding post-enrollment details. For those who have requested Rikkyo University to apply on their behalf for a Certificate of Eligibility (COE), we will send you all of the necessary documents for entry into Japan as soon as the COE has been issued.
