Scholarships for International Students
Rikkyo University is proud to be able to offer avenues for scholarships. There are two basic types of scholarships available to international students. One type are university scholarships that are unique to Rikkyo University, and the other type are external scholarships provided by the Japan Student Services Organization (JASSO) and private scholarship foundations. Both types of scholarships have two application formats: university recommendation and individual application.
If you wish to apply for a scholarship that requires a university recommendation, you must complete the Scholarship Application Registration every year within the designated period in order to obtain a scholarship university recommendation ranking.
If you wish to apply for a scholarship that requires an individual application, you are able to apply freely.
The criteria to be met for each scholarship will be announced separately.
Students are allowed to apply for any scholarship for which they are eligible. However, students can only be awarded one scholarship offered by Rikkyo University at the same time.
*Please note that the scholarship information below is subject to change annually.
